Make easy chocolate chip cookies in 15 minutes

Home baked chocolate chip cookie can be a luxurious treat. They are super easy to make, stores well and tastes much better than packaged ones. Eat alone or dunk in milk, you gotta try both. Its important to use good quality chocolate chips. I have used Hershey’s semi sweet variety. Give this super easy recipe of chocolate chip cookies a try.

Chocolate chip cookies are everyone’s favorite and they come in variety of textures. Thick, thin, chewy, cakey, depending upon the ingredients ratio, butter temperature, leavening agents etc. The ones here are soft and cake like with amazing flavor. They are so easy that you can involve your kids in making them and they can help in every step. Did I tell you, this is one of the most visited recipes on my blog and has most number of comments. Worth a try.

    Hey Nadia!

Can we use only fine white sugar instead of using brown sugar? If yes, then what should be the total quantity of sugar?

    Hey Nadia!

I tried these cookies yesterday and they turned out awesome! Really good… thanks for sharing such nice recipes with us.

I want to add one thing. If its possible for you, please also add the baking time and temperature in centigrades. Actually, I have an electric oven with just the temperature knobs in it so I'm not sure how to convert the gas mark into that… The cookies I baked at 180C for 15-20 minutes and it was just the right temperature!

Thanks once again. Happy baking! 🙂

This really is the best recipe ever. this is the exact same one i always use (on my blog anickh.blogspot.com) except i use crisco not butter and i bake at 350 for 9 min. the flour/butter/sugar ratio is absolutely perfect for making big fat chewy cookies.

Great site, Nadia! I just discovered your blog few days ago. I tried two of your recipes, the apple crisp and the veggie pot pie with chicken. It turned out great, especially my kids loved it. I will definitely try rest of your recipes and let you know.

I can answer that question. Do not use olive spread. It will change the taste of your cookie and not in a good way.

For me, it's better if you use aluminum foil instead of parchment paper. But when you use aluminum foil, be sure to grease the shiny side.
