Today I am sharing five Desi Desserts or Pakistani Sweet Dishes Recipes with condensed milk. Traditionally South Asian Recipes from Pakistan and India are time taking and slow cooking but since many of us find it challenging to take out time for cooking some traditional desserts, here I am sharing my top five traditional recipes that I make with condensed milk and they are a breeze to make. These five recipes are made so often that I have created detailed videos of each of them.

What is Condensed Milk?
Here are five quick Simple Condensed Milk Recipes. A little bit about condensed milk, its like concentrated milk reduce to thick consistency and sugar is added to give it sweetness and caramelized flavor.
Can you make Condensed Milk at home?
Well, I have not tried it personally but it certainly is possible and one of my favorite bloggers Gemma from Bigger Bolder Baking have taught how to make one here.
Caramel Pudding with Condensed Milk
It is technically not Pakistani per se but I have owned it since I have been seeing, eating and living this recipe since my childhood. Super easy decadent Egg Pudding that used to grace every dinner at our home. I have written a detailed blog post as well which is a tribute to my mom with five motivational mantras! You can read it here.

Pakistani Kheer Recipe
Next is classic traditional Kheer – which has been made super special and delicious with addition of condensed milk. A pinch of salt at the end is the real secret that not only offsets the sweetness but also helps it set in clay pots (mitti ki piyalian).

Instant Kulfi Recipe with Condensed Milk
Qulfi or Kulfi is the desi ice cream and is very popular on its own or in the form of falooda. My mom used to make it with crushed cornflakes and cooked for hours to get that flavor, texture and color but oh well, this blender qulfi is closest, easiest, no cook version of our good old kulfi.

Sheer Khurma Recipe Pakistani
Sheer Khurma, well I will make a mean claim, I have not eaten better sheer khurma than my mom’s. Like I am not even a milk or sivvayyan person, yet I love how she makes it and I got video recipe here for you.

Baked Yogurt Recipe
Last but the lightest and least sweet is Baked Yogurt, again technically not a Pakistani dessert but its Bangladeshi origin and is available in Karachi in one particular shop with the name “Meetha Dahi” . Made with only three ingredients, it is a clear winner to end those heavy dinner menu!

I hope you enjoyed this useful recap of Pakistani Sweet Dishes Recipes and will try one or two for your next party.
